Congratulations to Mike Prince for receiving his Lifetime Membership Award!


Here are some Highlights from our Stated communications, June 2, 2015.

Dinner of grilled pork chops, potatoes and green beans was provided by the Lodge Officers and Bridgett Shafer, the widow of brother Otto Shafer.  If you didn’t make it, you missed out on a really good meal.  Thanks to Brother Rick for this idea.

The School of Instruction is set for June 13th at the Garner Lodge #701, 406 E Main St, Garner, NC 27529, from 9:30am until 2:00 pm.  At a minimum, we need 3 officers and at least 2 members to attend.

Our five hour lecture service is scheduled for July 14 and July 21, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. We are required to have at least 5 officers and 7 members in attendance.

Brothers Chuck, Todd, and John reported on the annual Carolina Pig Jig at the Got to be NC agriculture festival in May.

Brother Rick gave a report on the watch raffles.  We had selected the winners earlier in the evening during the meal.
WB Todd Dyches from Holly Springs Lodge was the winner of the Masonic watch.  He attended the stated communications and was presented the watch at the alter (picture to follow at a later date).  A big thanks to Brother Rick for this Idea.

I gave a report on The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford. This year they are proud to have 7 Seniors graduating from high school and 1 resident graduating from Vance-Granville Community College.

WB’s Price and Latta presented a very informative presentation for our Masonic Education for the evening.

A big thanks to WB Latta, and Brother’s Johnson, Houston, and Wilhelm for filling officer stations.

Ella Bickel, wife of WB George Bickel, is recovering from a broken hip. Brother AJ’s Mother in Law passed away from complications from a stoke this past Sunday.  Please keep both George and Ella, AJ and Kelley in your thoughts and prayers.


WM Green Level Lodge #277

The night of the pig jig went well…Todd looked after the pig while Jerry, John and myself went and sold 25 raffle tickets.
More to follow on the Pig Jig at the June stated and a big thanks to everyone who showed up Friday and Saturday.

Included is a picture of the helpers for Friday evening and a demolished chair.  One brother sat in it a something popped. The next brother sat in it and flattened it!…..WB Hux is out 1 chair. Who done it???

WB Mack


Worshipful Brother Mack is planning to visit the Apex Lodge on Monday, March 9th.  If you would like to attend with him, please contact him.

Brethren and Friends of our Lodge,

We’ll be having a Pancake Breakfast at our Lodge on Saturday, February 14th from 8:00am to 10:00am.  Please invite all your friends and family to join us.

There is no set fee for the breakfast but we will be asking for donations.  All monies collected will benefit the Lodge.

On December 16th, 2015, Green Level installed their 2015 Officers and new Master, Mack McCorkle.  We’re already underway to a great 2015.
